Assisted with the care and growth of the safety programs for all the companies under the J&G group banner. They range from residential, civil, commercial and industrial construction.Six companies have the COR standard which I maintain and conduct annual audits for.Working closely with our Project managers and foremen to monitor a multitude of sub-contractors working in various trades on a daily basis across all job sites' both in urban and in rural locations across western Manitoba

Oversaw the safety programs for Paddock Drilling Ltd. Friesen Drillers Ltd. and Andrews and Sons Drilling. I organized to the training for both new and current employees, conduct accident/ incident investigations, as well as maintain our COR standard for safety.

I started at Paddock Drilling Ltd. in the spring of 2009 as a part-time/summer employee , running errands, assisting the mechanics or drillers, filing and completing safety related paperwork, yard maintenance, as well as loading/unloading trucks.In the summer of 2012 I took 1 month off to complete my EMR-Technicians training and when I returned I continued to work full time on the water well drill and geotechnical drilling side until February of 2013. It was October 2012 I was offered the chance to assume the role of Safety Administrator and work towards my Construction Safety Officer (CSO) designation which I completed on Oct 28th 2013.Having had the experience out of the office allows me to work with our crews to create efficient and effective changes to our ever changing safety program and procedures.
