Team Vanguard designed a pair of wearable devices meant to help vision-impaired folks navigate from room to room. The project involved months of study and user testing of how deaf users respond to sound and touch; the team’s iterated, over three months, audio and haptic feedback designs, as well as 3D-modeled and -printed designs, for a wearable device.
