I lead our team by having a genuine understanding of all of the roles and how they come together. I form the training plans for new employees and oversee their progress. I also handle scheduling for a team of 25 people at our 24/7-365 operation. I research, plan, and execute special projects, like election coverage. My role also depends on strong relationships with community leaders and partners to develop stories and create sources.

I was promoted to Executive News Producer in March of 2018. I started training new producers and overseeing special projects in July of 2017.

I produced the 10PM FOX newscast weekdays and eventually oversaw special projects. I was the project leader for the launch of the 7PM newscast in September, 2015. During this time, I also learned editing on Edius Grass Valley, and have turned a few news packages (editing video, interview clips, and voice tracking together.)
