Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the Publisher and CRO, SVP Partnerships, EVP Marketing and EVP AtlanticLIVE at The Atlantic.In May of 2022, I earned my Master’s of International Affairs from the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M. In May of 2020, I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi in Public Policy Leadership with a minor in Journalism. During my college career, I conducted a self-designed research study at the United States Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I primarily studied women’s rights in the country and Saudi-American relations while working to improve my Arabic skills. I gained investigative journalism skills as I orchestrated interviews discussing human rights with Saudi locals. During the summer of 2019, I studied Conflict Resolution at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.My academic concentrations included Middle Eastern studies, International Media Engagement, and Topics in Terrorism. One of my written works on media censorship in Egypt was published under the Bush School Center for Grand Strategy. My written works have been published in other outlets including Arabian Business and Fare Forward. I have tested as proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the Arabic language. During the summer of 2021, I served as an editorial intern at Arabian Business in Dubai, where I fulfilled the roles of a junior reporter and conducted audio and broadcast interviews, wrote a number of editorial pieces, and helped achieve communications objectives for the website and magazine. I served as a Graduate Assistant for Employer Relations at the Bush School. Additionally, I worked as a Government Relations intern at Victims of Communism, where I crafted daily Capitol Hill activity reports. I also served as a student trainee in the Public Affairs department of the Government Accountability Office during the summer of 2022. I then went on to work as a media strategist at the American Enterprise Institute. I am trained in grant writing, as well.
