I was the sole Year 6 teacher in a single-form entry school. This was a valuable experience as I understand first-hand the pressures and expectations within a state school for end of primary assessments.Key Responsibilities:• Take full responsibility for all planning, assessments, data entry/analysis and results.• Effectively prioritise work and constantly multitask to ensure that all deadlines are met whilst dealing with the day to day events within school.• Make optimal use of time to frequently organise cross-curricular events, performances and trips as well as fulfilling all safeguarding responsibilities.• Regularly liaise with external agencies to promote learning and support the needs of all children in my care.• Build positive working relationships with parents, colleagues and children across the school.• Act as a mentor for trainee teachers, which allows me to further develop my pastoral and leadership skills.• Responsible for the monitoring and development of PSHE across the school which includes supporting colleagues, arranging training and setting actions and goals for each academic year.• Regularly attending, organising and co-leading CPD courses.

I worked as a supply teacher throughout Bedfordshire whilst completing my training.
