I am currently enrolled in a 16 month accelerated nursing program and will graduate with my BSN in December. I have 4 years of healthcare experience - 2 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a rehabilitation center/memory care and 2 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a women's clinic. I look forward into taking the next step into the Registered Nursing role. Having experience in each level of nursing has helped me to develop and build on skills, understand scopes/roles of each position, and work well with each of these team members. I have clinical experience on an orthopedics floor and in the emergency department at Portland Providence Medical Center. Being able to experience all of these different types of environments has helped me be able to adapt well to any environment I am placed into. I strive to deliver excellent and safe patient care to all patients no matter their background.
