I was responsible for assisting customers when needed, upselling items, serving customers at checkout, building rapport with regulars. Also responsible for food checks, expiration dates and correct waste disposal. Dismantling and/or creating displays according to company policy. General face up of the store front, making it pleasing to the customers eye.

I was hired into the Inverness office and was taught under the office lead. Very quickly picked up the skills needed to succeed in the role. I brought in several people to work underneath me in a short time period. I helped maintain morale for my team members and showed them the skills required to be successful. Originally I was a door to door fundraiser and hit goals set by office lead. Soon into my role I moved to in store fundraising. Building relationships with not just the customers I signed up to donate but also with the members of the staff in the stores I was assigned. I would be at a store for at least a week, travelling hundreds of miles across the UK.
