Procurement Contract Specialist Ii
CurrentReplenish inventory and act as liaison between Public Utility Division and suppliers in the procurement of services, supplies, materials, and equipment; coordinate/draft/write purchase orders and other documents; review exceptions to terms and conditions to negotiate terms and conditions with legal department. Create and Maintain Contracts, Blanket Purchase Orders (Agreements). Reviews the levels of material, examine material control, and perform analysis of work requests for storeroom materials, supplies/equipment; facilitated meetings for project management to coordinate the work with internal/external customers on bids/purchases, reviewed order specifications; and prepare various reports, records, and correspondence. Reviews requisitions for materials, supplies, equipment, services and determines priorities of requests. Prepares Request for Quotes (RFQ), bid documents and quotes for solicitation. Analyzes bid responses to determine best purchase for the Division. Assists with specification development. Responsible for training Procurement Contract Specialists; Suppliers, Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, Storeroom staff and other Divisional personnel. Assist IT with Oracle Platform testing, trouble shooting and training office staff, division personnel and training Suppliers in the i-Supplier Portal. Perform other duties as assigned.
