The implication is she rose early, climbed alone, and she’s savouring the rich reward of her efforts. The caption underneath the picture will probably say ‘Live your best life.’ What it should say is: ‘Identify the cognitive flaws in your thinking and improve the quality of your life across all contexts’ .The fact is a lack of critical thinking skills contributes significantly to many of the problems in our lives.Through executive workshops, coaching and facilitation I introduce meta cognition, getting people like you to think about your thinking – to develop critical thinking skills that will help you make much better decisions.If you’re making a decision, the question you should ask is, ‘I have a strong feeling in my gut about this, but should I be trusting it?’ For the past 20 years I’ve worked with management teams and executives across ASX-listed companies, private businesses, industry associations and women’s business groups to help people:• cut the drama that wastes time, energy and opportunity;• illuminate the cognitive errors that hold people back;• enable more effective leadership communication; and• develop personal strategies to grow in power, impact and influence.During the 90’s and early 2000’s I appeared on most Australian TV dramas and and on stage playing some great Shakespearian roles and directed and performed in the Sydney and Northern Australian seasons of Mum's the Word. My unique expertise peels back the layers of conventional corporate speak and opaque corporate cultures and, more importantly helps people make practical sense of their daily dramas. My focus is on illuminating how flaws in our thinking can make people (you) susceptible to poor decision-making and exploitation, contributes to employee unhappiness, to financial loss and even the shredding of reputations and relationships.
