Develop hypotheses and design studies with appropriate methods and populations. Facilitate experimental procedures on seven different projects, with research questions addressing infants’ experience of surprise-induced learning, children’s number learning, and infants’ and toddlers’ expectations of agents’ competence. Supervise and direct two undergraduate research assistants on two separate projects.Supervise and manage lab personnel, including graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, research assistants, and summer interns to ensure that 10+ studies run productively. Interview, hire, and train new lab members. Manage all lab purchases and allocate grant funds to appropriate projects. Build relationships with and coach prepartum and postpartum mothers presenting with depression, anxiety, rage, and trauma symptoms. Employ techniques and theories from cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to aid clients with adaptive emotional regulation. Provide and review digital tools and exercises with clients for practice between weekly sessions. Create case conceptualization for clients based on presenting problems. Trained to assess suicidality, homicidal intent, and domestic and child endangerment.

Observe weekly therapy sessions between clinician and patient. Debrief and discuss at the conclusion of each session.

Conducted extensive literature review on anxiety disorders and bipolar disorder. Attended weekly meetings to discuss findings in preparation for conference presentation.
