Led civic engagement initiatives in the Office of Campus Life at Rider University through the Rider Bonner Community Scholar Program, monthly campus-wide days of service, and cross campus collaboration on residential learning communities and international service trips. Developed deep, reciprocal relationship with dozen nonprofits in the Trenton, NJ area that included programs on youth development, adult education, and food and housing insecurity. During my tenure as the director of Rider Bonner Community Scholar Program, the program expanded from 30 to 60 students, forged relationships with Rider’s Education Opportunity Program to increase diversity and retention among student participants, and increased staffing to support capacity building projects at committed partner sites.

Participated in this two-year fellowship program to serve as a member of Foundation Staff as a way building upon my experience as a Bonner Leader at Lees-McRae College and further my career in higher education and civic engagement. Played a key role in providing technical and programming assistance to Bonner AmeriCorps Programs, one of the largest Education Award Only grants in the country, as well as oversaw the preparation of a successful three-month comprehensive audit conducted by the Corporation for National Service. Launch initiatives to increase the use of social media across campuses in the network that included, but not limited to, The Bonner Video Project, Twitter and Facebook campaign, and provided training on new emerging social media tools.
