Functions as main point of contact representing the University of Washington School of Art to all guest lecturers, onboarding faculty, and existing staff members, providing support and answers to an array of questions and concerns.Serves as co-Art Building Coordinator and Project Manager by ensuring the well-being of each of our three facilities through: systematizing work orders, contacting facility leads, managing all surplus inventory, oversee building renovations and large-scale projects and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for those who practice art in our spaces.Owns responsibility for all figure model coordination for the Division of Art. This involves: recruitment, database management, scheduling for all necessary classes, liaison between instructor and model.Invents and simplifies inefficient processes by creating and managing multiple databases and process frameworks used to evaluate faculty promotion material, all faculty student evaluations, staff particulars, and safety and building information (distributed campus-wide).Serves in an administrative support role for 40+ faculty members for the School including, but not limited to, calendaring and scheduling meetings and events, fulfilling catering requests, office and classroom space planning, mailing services, etc.Plans and budgets School of Art + Art History + Design team building events from deciding location, providing food and decoration, and staff recognition—all within a limited state budget.Coordinates all appointment of Art History tutors. This includes: contacting instructors of classes eligible for reader-grader support, preparing SoA+AH+D hourly request forms, issuing appointment contracts in compliance with SoA+AH+D and Union policies, monitoring hours worked against allocated support.Represents the School of Art + Art History + Design on the College of Arts and Sciences’ Health and Safety Committee.
