While employed at Warner + Cunningham, Inc. in Brookline, I worked on schematic design and construction documents for residential renovations and new construction. I learned about the process of working with the clients to create a design scheme, on site measurement coordination, drafting up schematic designs and construction details, scheduling and coordination with subcontractors, and overseeing the construction process. Overall, I learned about details, the timeline of a residential project from start to finish, and the communication between architect and contractor.

As a graduate teaching assistant, I collaborated closely with students in this sophomore design studio to foster their conceptual thinking and translate it into compelling spatial designs. I led engaging workshops, where I shared my expertise in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign with the students, showing them tips and techniques for translating their design ideas into clear, concise layouts and drawings.
