I started out part-time, data entry for an independent agent and over the course of 4 years I received my license in property and casualty and became the Office Manager. During those 4 years I grew to love the process of insurance, and that it was the same, but also very different for everyone searching for coverage. I transitioned to a different agency and was the Administrative Assistant at a financial group, where their main focus was life insurance, retirement plans and investments. In 2019, I started working for Cottonwood Insurance as a Customer Service Representative with the Personal Lines Department. Within a few months I moved to the front desk/reception area and started working face to face again with the public. In the spring of 2020 I became the manager of the Personal Lines Department. Although my time as manager was shorter than anticipated, the opportunity to transition to the Commercial Lines presented itself. I've enjoyed being able to learn something new and delving into the Commercial side of insurance, again where it's the same but very different. I have also had a part-time job at a local comedy/musical theater; where I get to enjoy working with people and helping them enjoy having a nice, fun night out.
