Manage Movable Type social media accounts. Create all content for the social media. Coordinate with other departments to boost Movable Type submissions.

Created department’s Instagram, which now exceeds 500 followers. Design all content for social media accounts. Created the Internship Database with Google Sheets, which connects students & alumni for networking opportunities. Merged Movable Type with the Media Studies website to build Movable Type’s reader base. Routinely meet tight deadlines to execute the semesterly newsletter, schedule faculty and student interviews. Currently in the process of redesigning the Department’s website, which includes intensive data coding and focus groups.

Wrote descriptive blog posts about the Charlottesville Wine Country for all three publications. Used Tailwind to design over 50 graphics to accompany published articles across publication social media accounts. Utilized WordPress to advance the Life & Style Weddings website’s aesthetics, and add descriptive language. Created an organized data-tracking system for yearly social media statistics on Google Sheets and Excel. Improved search engine optimization through Google Trends and statistics.

Created and executed six lesson plans weekly. Worked with children under the age of 12 and maintained efficient classroom management skills. Chaperoned field trips and activities with the kids. Made sure the kids were following directions and being safe. Cleaned and organized the learning center daily.

Monitored pool area for safety and compliance; quickly responding to distress situations to keep membership safe. Monitored behaviors for safety violations and took steps to further prevent future violations. Cleaned and maintained pool facilities.
