After a fantastic 35-year career in the media across TV, Radio, and Commercial as a food presenter and TV cook, I've taken a career leap in front of the cameras again – this time as a mature silver model!As an experienced presenter – I'm comfortable being centre stage. My credits include ITV's This Morning, Channel 5 Open House with Gloria Hunniford, the Shopping Channel Ideal World and various series for Yorkshire Television. I'm looking for model and ambassador roles with brands, companies and organisations. I'm particularly passionate about representing women in the vibrant early retired/retirement sector – and 50-plus.

My specialist food PR and marketing agency served up a tasty portion of fluff-free PR expertise for hundreds of delicious food and drink companies for more than 10 years. Clients included Thomas the Baker, Tescos, Weeton’s and Womersley.

• For almost a decade I was food and wine consultant for Yorkshire Life Magazine, producing a monthly food and drink column, and was Chair of the judges for the prestigious Yorkshire Life Food & Drink Awards.• During this time, I was a regular radio contributor for BBC Radio York, PR and event manager for the annual York Festival of Food & Drink and event speaker and demonstrator at the BBC Good Food Show, working with prestigious food companies such as Marks & Spencer, Tefal, Sainsbury’s and Lloyd Grossman Sauces.• I have also been on the judging panel for the Moors And Coast Tourism Partnership Awards, Delicious Magazine Produce Awards, Flavours Of Hambleton Awards and Regional Food Group Yorkshire/Humber Awards.• I was a board member for the former West Yorkshire Tourism Advisory Board.

Over the course of 11 years, I made regular appearances on television working on high profile food and drink programmes. Highlights include:• Five years as cookery presenter on the weekly food slot for Channel 5’s Open House alongside Gloria Hunniford.• Co-presenter for eight-part Yorkshire Television series You Are What You Eat. • Nutrition expert and cookery presenter for Yorkshire Television’s Wellbeing Channel. • Appearances on ITV’s This Morning; BBC’s The Generation Game and Heaven and Earth; Carlton Food Network’s Food for Thought and The Heat is On, and Tyne Tees TV’s Flavour of the Month, Summer Sunday and Food on the Move.

After teaching Cordon Bleu cookery courses at various schools and colleges in Yorkshire, I honed my skills to become one of the UK’s most prominent food stylists and home economists, working as an assistant producer on numerous television programmes. Highlights include:• Five years as food stylist/home economist for Granada TV’s This Morning, sourcing props and ingredients and dressing the set. Worked with Susan Brookes, the programme cook, Gary Rhodes, Ken Hom, Delia Smith, Anthony Worral-Thompson and Raymond Blanc.• Researcher for series 3 and 4 of Coastal Kitchen and worked on location for Anglia TV’s Suffolk Coastal Kitchen and Norfolk Coastal Kitchen with chef Danny Boome.• Worked on series 1 and 2 of the BBC’s Rhodes Around Britain, including Christmas specials.• Worked as food producer, recipe stylist and home economist on the BBC’s Jane Asher Good Living.• Location based research for BBC2’s Ken Hom’s Hot Wok. • Worked on props, styling and research for a series of Anglia Television and Carlton Food Network shows with chef Brian Turner including Out to Lunch, All Star Cooking and A Yorkshire Pudding.• Researcher for BBC2’s Sophie Grigson’s Herbs and Sophie Grigson’s Sunshine Food.
