• Represents public access, environmental and recreational interests in local and regional land planning processes including specific plans, general plans, development referrals, and other governmental actions. • Involvement with negotiations, land rights analysis and acquisition procedures, including experience with purchases and dedications in excess of $10M and 1,000 acres. • Negotiates to secure development concessions such as open space dedications, public access infrastructure, easements, and environmental mitigation.• Responsible for Project Management including diverse teams of in-house and consultant experts. • Performs in-depth review and development of land use planning and environmental documents, policies, and regulations under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). • Performs detailed collection, analysis and presentation of data to inform land use policy decisions and acquisitions. • Exceptional communication abilities both verbal and graphic.
