Annie Berrington is the founder and Managing Director of Get Out More CIC, a social enterprise that exists to connect communities and nature so we can all grow healthier together. A self-motivated and committed professional with over 25 years’ experience of managing and delivering successful programmes with communities, Annie is skilled at working with clients to develop and deliver effective outdoor wellbeing, learning and development programmes that enable people to benefit from connecting with nature. Get Out More runs programmes for people of all ages, from forest schools and outdoor play with children through to adult wellbeing groups, corporate away days and training and employment programmes. Annie is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to high quality standards and has extensive experience of consultation, fundraising, marketing, budget management, risk assessment, monitoring and evaluation. She is a qualified level 3 forest school practitioner and trainer and runs forest school training courses and outdoor CPD. Previous to running Get Out More, Annie has worked in project management in arts organisations in Bradford and Huddersfield.
