We run outdoor programmes, including forest schools, community engagement, wellbeing and training programmes, for people of all ages across Bradford and beyond. Using local woodlands and parks, we bring people together, to be active and feel good. A freelance creative facilitator and forest school practitioner offering project delivery, project management and training. A creative thinker with a flair for building relationships, I enjoyed working collaboratively and realising ideas. Creative Partnerships was a national creative learning programme, managed in West and South Yorkshire by Cape UK. As a Creative Agent I worked with a total of 14 primary schools and children's centres helping them explore how creative teaching and learning can improve practice and outcomes for children. My role was to support the school in developing an enquiry question, to recruit a suitable creative partner, facilitate the smooth running of the programme and help all partners reflect on the learning.Each programme was unique, looking at themes as diverse as maths, speaking and listening, parental involvement and community links, but they all had in common the desire to work with creative people to develop the school’s approach to teaching, and help their children learn. Significant changes have happened in all the settings as a result

A participatory arts organisation which uses creativity as a catalyst for change. As Projects Director I was responsible for securing new contracts, managing a diverse project programme including fundraising, marketing and evaluation and leading the team of project staff and artists. Key achievements• Acting Director Sept – Dec 07, responsible for leading the organisation through a period of transition • Wrote funding bids and secured new contracts with Healthcare Commission, Bradford Primary Care Trust, Bradford Council and Creative Partnerships, collectively worth over £220k• Developed and maintained funding partnerships with strategic organisations
