As a Major Donor Fundraising Account Manager at Odell, Simms & Lynch (OSL), I am responsible for developing and managing fundraising strategy for a variety of clients. I currently work with four organizations, The Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission, The National Aviation Hall of Fame, National History Day, and The Museum of the American Revolution. Working directly with the senior most leadership at each organization, I work to execute all aspects of the development process, with a focus on raising 6-, 7-, and 8-figure gifts. In addition to cultivating, soliciting and stewarding relationships with high net worth individuals and leadership at Fortune 500 companies nationwide, I work directly with corporate CSR and Community Relations teams, as well as corporate and private foundations. Conducts research to identify major donor prospects including corporations, foundations, and high-net worth individuals. Conducts outreach to major donor prospects to arrange meetings for executives and managers. Develops and writes concept papers, proposals, and meeting reports. Manages and updates database of all prospects and client-related information using Excel and SugarCRM. Interfaces with prospective donors and clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
