Responsible for writing press releases and pitches, as well as pitching to media outlets for clients in the food, sports and lifestyle industries. Secured numerous print, online, and broadcast placements across trade, national and regional media. Worked with Excel, PowerPoint and Cision to work with media lists, media trackers, influencer schedules, and monthly media recaps.

Aided in the upcoming launch of Moodie Collection, a new luxury/designer line for handbags, candles, diffusers. Created social media calendar and content for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Boosted user engagement for the new social media profiles.

Remote internship where I was responsible for reaching out to potential podcast guests for Finding Direction. In this role, I researched and reached out to individuals who fit the target audience for the podcast. I followed up with these individuals and booked enough guests for six months for a weekly podcast. Another contribution I made was booking Stu Massengill, founder and host of Finding Direction, on a variety of other podcasts.
