Performed ethics reviews based on federal and DoD ethics regulations, provided attorney review of criminal investigations in support/advance of prosecution, conducted policy reviews, assisted in preparation for regular inspections of RLSO NW by the Inspector General of the Navy, as well as operational and administrative legal support for the headquarters commander, as well as 140 afloat commands, 100-plus shore commands, and 16 reserve support commands. Also filled in on occasion to provide legal assistance services to sailors in advance of deployment, as well as regular legal assistance for those stationed at Naval Base Kitsap.

Supervised a team of 3 officer attorneys, 4 enlisted paralegals, and 3 civilian paralegals to provide legal support and advice to commands throughout the Midwest. Provided guidance on issues including human resources, misconduct, ethical compliance, HIPAA compliance, FOIA/Privacy Act requests, policy guidance, criminal law and staff misconduct, relations with local and state governments, contract reviews, congressional inquiries, and administrative law.
