The implementation of new innovative technology (i.e. EPIC) in a fast-paced healthcare setting calls for the need for support in regards to EPIC itself. This is a big change in healthcare and alongside HIS Education and Training team, Super Users, and Command Centre staff, we ease the transition to EPIC for all hospitals in the GTA. Through troubleshooting workflow discrepancies, security, and access issues within the software, we are able to ensure patient safety and oversee the workflows to secure access to private information.
