Driving increased breadth and depth of engagement among the Chicago Booth alumni community by developing a stronger through line from admit to student to alumnus; advancing meaningful and active networks; and using data to better link alumni to connections, resources, and opportunities.

Increased alumni engagement by specifically focusing on building strategies around students, the student to alumni transition, recent alumni, and professional development opportunities, including mentorship. Brought on 4 new positions to build strategic initiatives around key content and constituent areas, with 7 total number of direct and indirect reports. Increased volunteer pipeline and volunteer cultivation through strategic engagement. Built the Northwestern Network Mentorship Program and led the initiative through a successful global launch and earned the CASE Platinum Award for Best Practices in Alumni Relations. Managed the creation and growth of the Northwestern Career Webinar program and the Northwestern Intersections podcast.

Planned and implemented an alumni career services program, corporate clubs, and professional development programs for alumni of the University of Chicago.Led affinity group team to develop effective strategies for interacting with and supporting these alumni both in person and online. Identified potential new groups and support their launch and incorporation into current volunteer experience. Collaborated with colleagues to organize programs that encourage networking and career education among alumni. Integrated career and affinity programs into larger alumni relations and development programming and mission.

Created and managed a new monthly University of Chicago Alumni Career Services branded webinar series that is garnering a 94.3% satisfaction rate, according to post event surveys. Managed Alumni Career Services' signature event series, Career Month, including partnerships with 11 domestic alumni clubs to host a unique event in each city featuring a speaker or distinguished panel of career experts and industry networking. Managed social media for Alumni Career Services, primarily the University of Chicago Alumni LinkedIn group, which I helped to grow by 31% last year. Advised broad community of UChicago alumni on resume and cover letter development, job search plan creation, networking strategies, and interview practice earning a 95% satisfaction rate. Partnered with alumni volunteers who are designated Career Chairs for their regional clubs.

Managed the recruitment and data management of a study involving the emotional aspects of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Recruited patients during a physically and emotionally challenging time in their lives, assessed patients for emotional distress, managed data, and reported up to the PI on study progress.

Worked with MBA students from beginning to end to help them make the most of their career opportunities and graduate school experience. Partnered with several student clubs and mainly concentrated on working with the students going into consulting and younger MBA students. Initiated several programs and events, including a very successful job search club which was in direct response to the market downturn of 2008.

Focused on providing one-on-one career counseling to students, alumni, and community members to help them achieve their career goals. Administered and interpreted several career assessments including the Strong, MBTI, CPI, and more. Created programming and partnered with other campus offices to provide many opportunities for the students and community to benefit from our services.
