I’m a service designer who works with teams and communities to enrich the way people live, learn, and connect in physical and digital spaces. My interdisciplinary, systems-oriented design practice is influenced by over a decade of experience in both strategic and operational roles—as a program manager and instructional designer—spanning non-profits, edtech, and e-commerce. Undeniably, It’s also influenced by my lived experience as a child of refugees, first-generation college graduate, and neurodivergent woman. My approach to collaboration starts with cultivating a sense of belonging and collective purpose. I use participatory design, mixed methods research, and strategic storytelling to envision and co-create solutions that are relevant, reliable, and resonant for the people I'm designing with, and for.I’m drawn to organizations that prioritize systems thinking, socioecological wellbeing and resilience, and relationship-building while working towards more equitable and sustainable outcomes, both within and outside the workplace. What energizes me most are conversations and projects that strengthen relationships and drive meaningful change within, and across, communities. I’m particularly passionate about reducing barriers to education and employment, redesigning our food systems, accelerating policy change for the care economy, improving maternal health and wellbeing, and increasing civic engagement through art, play, and placemaking. If you see potential for us to collaborate or want to connect 1:1, I encourage you to reach out and share how you came to find me.

Career TransitionCareer Break Jun 2021 - Dec 2021Took the second half of 2021 to rest, reset, recharge, and invest in my personal learning while intentionally exploring my next career move.During this time, I dove into topics I’d been curious about for awhile, including regenerative agriculture, service design, and universal design.Aside from coaching a few clients on the side and continuing to hold 1:1 virtual office hours, I also completed an introductory permaculture course with the Center for Bioregional Living, and an online course in sustainable design with the Pratt Institute. Both of these courses confirmed the desire to formalize and expand on my skill set as a designer, both in breadth and depth. In October, I was accepted into the Austin Center for Design's 2022 cohort.

Career & Leadership CoachEmbrace The Blur Coaching 2018 - 2021New York, UsLaunched a coaching practice to work with people who wanted to achieve greater clarity, balance, and intention in their careers and approaches to leadership, which often translated into other parts of their lives. As a coach, I partnered with clients to identify their values, clarify their goals, and strategize ways to accelerate their personal and professional development so that they could make meaningful progress, take their leadership to the next level, and amplify the impact on their teams, organizations, and the people they served. While I enjoyed working with executives and those in the C-suite, I also found ways to make coaching available and accessible to people beyond those roles.
