After graduating from the University of Alabama 2018 with my bachelor's degree in music therapy, I interned with Heart and Harmony Music Therapy in Fort Worth, Texas and now work there as a clinician, supervisor, and strategic coordinator. I will begin my masters coursework in music therapy at the University of Kansas in 2024.My first peer-reviewed publication titled “From surviving to thriving: Creating a viable virtual model of music therapy internship in private practice during a global pandemic.” was published in Dialogues in Music Therapy Education in 2022.Currently, I am a member of the Texas State Task Force for Music Therapy Recognition, the Certification Board for Music Therapy's Exam committee, and have previously served as the Southwestern Region representation to American Music Therapy Association's Reimbursement Committee.
