About Annie Robitaille
Annie Robitaille completed her PhD at the University of Ottawa’s School of Psychology in 2010. Her dissertation examined the role of social support on psychological distress among older Canadian using the National Population Health Survey. Annie currently holds a postdoctoral research associate position with the Centre for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care at the Bruyere Research Institute and the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. Her postdoctoral research focuses on better understanding responsive behaviours for persons living with dementia throughout the continuum of care. Prior to her start with the Bruyère Research Institute, Annie completed a postdoctoral research position in the Department of Psychology and Centre on Aging at the University of Victoria and the Integrative Analysis of Longitudinal Studies on Aging network where she is still currently working as a research associate. Her research focuses on the analysis of longitudinal studies in order to answer questions about between-person and within-person change in cognitive aging.
