Researched and wrote memos about topics including disclosure requirements for attorney-mediators, clinical supervision and debriefing processes, and family group conferencing. Member of the Executive Board of the Writing Fellows Program for four semesters. During each semester, organized interview schedule and process between five Executive Board Members and 40+ applicants. Helped make hiring and placement decisions for rising class of tutors and collected and organized necessary employment information. Helped plan and organize opening meeting, training retreat, and closing social for 60+ tutors each semester.

Worked as a writing peer tutor and emphasized the process of writing thesis-driven papers. As part of tutoring process: met with professors, received drafts from assigned students and returned drafts with comments and one-page response letter, held writing conference to teach writing skills and review drafts. Promoted to work as a Senior Fellow after two semesters and coordinated meetings with professors, made presentations to the class, and conducted meetings with program coordinator and other tutors for progress reports and training.

Completed long-term research tasks as assigned by the Director of Energy and Environmental Policy on topics such as NEPA, Keystone XL, and gas and oil leases. Daily tasks included compiling summaries of related news articles and staying updated on data from the EIA. Completed independent research culminating in a paper and presentation to colleagues.
