Native Plant and Butterfly Landscape Designer, Eco-Florist (William's Wildflowers), Nursery Manager, Plant GrowerAnnie designs organic and natural gardens that feed butterflies, birds, pollinators and Floridians. She has an art and design background and over 12 years experience managing and designing for her family’s retail plant nursery, Florida Native Plants Nursery in Sarasota. In addition, her current projects include designing, creating and maintaining the Nursery's web and social media sites, and growing and designing for the Nursery's latest project William's Wildflowers. Annie has completed Annie's Project offered by the Florida Agricultural Extension Service where she was certified with 24 hours of Farm Management. She is also a certified Master Naturalist through the University of Florida's Master Naturalist Program and a Florida Water Steward through Sarasota's Agricultural Extension Office.Annie is fluent and creative in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. Annie continues to get to know native Florida plants and ecological landscape design, sustainable and organic plant nursery practices, media and marketing, gardening, and floral design with wildflowers and foraged material. She also loves bioregional herbalism, growing organic edibles, and getting her two kids out in nature.
