During the school year my roles in this position include collaborating with team members to develop a new website layout for the Universities Career Resource Center and checking students resumes and cover letters. Currently I am working on developing a social media campaign for graduating business students. This campaign will take advantage of the university’s social media accounts in order to showcase what graduating Seniors will be doing after graduation. This project has required me to create a brand for the campaign, incentives for participants, hashtags, and email marketing messages. I have also been in charge of leading two different project teams, one for the updating of the SLU's Career Resource Center website and another for the implementation of SLU's new alumni connection platform SLU Connections. My previous roles included interviewing new potential interns for the Career Resource Center, training new employees, and participating in weekly meetings.

In this position, I took ownership of marketing projects which enabled me to demonstrate my analytical and creative skills. My main project was to improve the current SLU business school’s website to make it informative, relevant and user friendly to the user by researching and analyzing other universities career center’s websites. I created multiple mock-up website designs utilizing the researched data and presented the options to staff members. I also sat on the implementation team of a new alumni connection platform for the University and attended weekly meetings to discuss progress and new ideas for the University.

As an Analytical Marketing Intern at MilliporeSigma I worked to analyze email marketing campaigns, write promotional emails for specifically segmented customers, and find leads for the sales team. For each project I learned to visualize and present key findings to my team. This taught me how to summarize data in a comprehensive and understandable way as well as describe the data and explain the importance of it to the company. Through this role I have been able to grow my skills in Microsoft and Salesforce as well as gain experience with Oracle Eloqua.
