I worked as a part-time Marketing Manager at Musiikkikoulu Ilonen while studying full-time.I designed and planned a part of the small company's marketing. My tasks mainly consisted of managing the allover marketing plan as well as content creation for social media and newsletter. I created the concept for the newsletter and a new marketing calendar, which I kept up to date.

I had the honor of spending my third summer as a summer employee in the Motonet marketing department.This summer I learned a lot more about planning the marketing content according to the target audience, season etc., while adhering to the company guidelines. I also learned a lot about the allover marketing planning of the company and what is required for it to be efficient. I was able to create the most successful online marketing banners of the summer.The products I created included e.g. online marketing banners, product packaging and one-pager advertisements for magazines.

At Trainers' House I was a part of the B2B marketing team. My task was B2B cold calling upper management to book sales meetings for customers.This job was a good lesson on how to pitch and sell your idea to a B2B customer, who didn't know they needed the service. The job required determination and adherence to strict timelines and performance requirements.

This summer job consisted mostly of designing and composing one-page advertisements to magazines including e.g. Helsingin Sanomat Kuukausiliite and Suomen Kuvalehti. It also included creating other sorts of print and web advertisements, which were great in further developing InDesign and Photoshop skills. This job was a great combination of my interests for marketing and graphic design. On the side, the job offered a lot of learning about the processes and culture of a consolidated company.
