Prepared black bear hair follicles and assisted with amplification of their DNA to identify individuals for better understanding of migration. Worked with MassMammals Watch, an associated citizen science project, to solicit reports of sightings of wild mammals. Developed ecology-related lesson plans for elementary and high schools. Presented short online lessons to schools, wrote a monthly newsletter, and posted to social media.
