As a recent psychology graduate from St. Mary's College of Maryland, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to a new career in the field of mental health or social services. I have a strong interest in human behavior, cognition, and emotions and how they influence our well-being and interactions with others in a variety of environments.I have gained valuable experience and competencies through my academic and professional endeavors. I worked as a research study assistant for four months, where I primarily assisted in conducting an experiment on art activities and the effects of stress relief. Additionally, I designed, conducted, and analyzed my own survey research on the effects of family systems on child emotion regulation and the development of mental health disorders. I used data analysis tools, such as SPSS and Excel, to interpret and present the results. I also have over five years of experience in the food service industry, where I developed excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. I provided the best experience for guests, handled complaints and feedback, and collaborated with colleagues and managers. I am reliable, adaptable, and hardworking, always willing to learn and improve.
