As a senior LCA consultant at COWI I mainly work with the quantitative sustainability analyses such as performing full LCA studies, developing EPDs (environmental product declarations) and climate calculations/accounting. I mainly work within the field of infrastructure and buildings. Assessments are typically performed using LCA For Experts (GaBi), InfraLCA or other excel-based tools developed within COWI. I have also been involved in the development of both excel and python-based LCA tools. I have a master's degree in environmental engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. I've specialised in environmental management with particular focus on life cycle assessment (LCA) and the quantification of the effects of human activities on the environment and biodiversity. Professionally, I am especially interested in data processing and statistics where I've used R, MATLAB, some Python and GIS analysis. I strive to involve myself socially both at work and in my spare time where I've been actively involved in student politics, the student cabaret, the student introduction activities, I've volunteered for the organisation CISV (Children's International Summer Vacation) and I've always been engaged with various social communities around me. In my spare time I like outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. I also enjoy cooperative board games and reading.
