I serve to inspire and help my students reach their goals, no matter how small. I was provided the opportunity to teach English in places of poverty in Taiwan and assisting teachers in the US to provide international students the chance to learn in the American classroom. With these teaching opportunities, I realized the significance for teachers, as they are the first role model and superhero that each child encounters. I went to visit to my old preschool and fortunately, I was given the opportunity and power to plant the seeds of innovation into the new generation of children. I worked in preschool, and decided to push myself further into elementary education.As a current graduate student at the California State University, Fullerton earning my Multiple Subject teaching credential, I am obtaining an abundance of resources and learning effective strategies that promote an equitable, just, and inclusive education. I am beyond excited to apply what I've learned into the classroom by not only teaching foundational knowledge, but fostering curiosity and interest in changing the future.
