Veterinarian and Small Animal Rotating Intern at Lois Bates Acheson Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Oregon State University, with a passion for surgery and a goal of pursuing further specialisation as a surgeon.Graduated from The Norwegian University of Life Sciences; College of Veterinary Medicine, Norway, spring of 2023. Moved from Norway to the US immediately after graduation to pursue further training and specialisation. Chasing the veterinary dream that started when I volunteered at my local veterinary clinic as a 13-year-old. I have a strong passion for veterinary medicine in general and the work is a big part of my identity, but during the recent years of training, my love and passion for surgery have grown in particular. I also have experience in academia and research, including fieldwork in Africa with zoonotic diseases and laboratory work, as well as teaching experience; including clinical skills teaching and practical general surgery.
