As a Fashion and Textile Technologies student from Germany, studying in the Netherlands has allowed me to take part in an international, English program that teaches the technicalities and applications of textiles, as well as the creative aspects of fashion, including collection development and concept design, which I enjoy the most! A main focus point of my interests which is engraved in our study program is sustainability. My ultimate goal is to use my creative skills to have a positive impact on the industry in the future. In the past few years, my work experience has revolved around fashion and social media. Next to my studies, I currently work in retail at a fashion boutique for which I also regularly create social media content. Besides that, I am an ambassador of my study program, for which I also manage the Instagram account. I keep potential new students up to date by interviewing graduates, current students, or posting about events at our university. Finally, I am the social media manager at S.HE Business. A fashion consultancy agency, where I also did a three-month internship in eCommerce and social media back in 2019. I have been working for the company again since 2020, developed their web site and continue to manage the social media activities.
