I was on the winning team of the Canadian internship case competition. I researched our topic for four months and gathered valuable data to include in our presentation. I constructed an engaging and creative slideshow over the course of my internship that was later shown to a panel. I presented confidently to the CEO, directors and managers. I gained product knowledge that allowed me to excel in sales while meeting with multiple contractors. I worked well with my coworkers, contributing my positive mindset and ideas to the team.

Working as a summer student in marketing has given me the opportunity to use my strengths in the field I hope to major in at MacEwan university. I was able to develop sales strategies to help reach the sales goals. I was able to use my creativity to market the products. Client satisfaction is a priority to me and I felt like I exceeded these expectations with my time here. I gained many useful skills including how to promote product, make clients happy and marketing tactics. With everything I have learnt at The Tilted Barn Pet Co. I will be able to use this experience with my next opportunity.
