MTR Tunnelbanan has the assignment to plan, operate and support the Stockholm subway system. The company has 2500 employees. As Head of Business control the main responsibility is to develop and improve the analysis of the cost side, especially the staff cost. Follow-up on performance KPIs is also an important part. The work also includes reporting to européen head office and Hong Kong HQ as well as budgeting och forecasting processes. The business control team consists of 6 controllers and 2 BI-specialists where the majority is recently recruited. The role is currently transforming into a Head of Finance role including said responsibilities as well as a more overall financial responsibility for the company.

Focus has been on creating a modern business controlling function and new ways of working when accounting function was outsourced. Being a member of management team has included strategic work aiming to meet new demands from an industry in transformation. The role as CFO also included responsibility for HR-, IT- and business analysis departments.

The role as CFO meant total responsibility for external and internal reporting and controlling of film & game publisher and distributor PAN Vision with 170 empoyees and a turnover of approx 1300 msek in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Focus was on improving working capital and cash flow, reducing currency risk, enhancing quality in accounting and reporting and continuous development of business controlling.The role as Controlling manager meant responsibility for establishing and leading a controlling team for a company in a turnoaround phase resulting from a merger of several nordic companies and negative financial results. Furthermore the digital tranformation of the film and games industry was taking place. All of the above created a need for rapid and accurate financial and business data.

The responsibilities as Group Business Controller for IT and internet consulting company Mandator/Cell Network included financial reporting to management and board, business planning and forecasting, follow up activities with business units in Sweden and abroad (nordic countries, Estonia and the U.K.) as well as ad hoc activities and projects mainly supporting commercial activities.
