With AI, algorithms, chat bots and virtual assistants we will met, build and do things very differently in the future. Humans in close collaborations with smart machines, how well will we perform together? This will be the new normal and it´s all about collaboration, culture and leadership. Software will be as electricity and hot water a commodity for all companies so it is obvious that we need to make the most of it. New technologies will give us new possibilities and open doors to new business models and new ways of working. With rapid change and increasing uncertainty our capabilities, leadership and culture needs to be developed accordingly. We need to be prepared, act fast if necessary, be brave enough and to stretch beyond where we are today - in other words we need to be ready for anything. In our Digital Transformation Lab we are focusing on finding transformative innovations for the Stena Group in a networking organization with both internal and external experts. In the lab we are working with all aspects of digital transformation from Business, Technology to People and Organisational development and in my role as Head of Digital Transformation Lab my focus is on: • Finding new business opportunities from new technology or in new business models. It will not be enough to focus on improving our core business we need to explore and experiment on transformative innovations far from where we are today. To succeed with this we set up effective team with business experts and digital experts with insights from external experts. I also work with finding our future ecosystem, partnering up with academia and the startup community.
