Annika Kazembe, MBA, LPN, CSNI, CADDCT, CDP brings over 15 years of experience leading successful organizations to the role of chief executive officer at GIFTE. She is a business executive and founder of award-winning health care agency and learning centers, Tender Loving Family, Inc.; TLFC Child Care and Learning Centers; and TLC Virtual Academy, Inc. Annika is also CEO at Tender Loving Family, Inc.; TLFC Child Care and Learning Centers; TLC Virtual Academy, Inc. and co-CEO at TLC Virtual Resiliency. In her roles as CEO, she has led all aspects of the organizations' strategy, growth, day-to-day management and business development. Annika brings her expertise in transforming small organizations to large revenue generators. She has extensive experience in operations management, strategic leadership, planning, and business development. She has designed and built several successful businesses from concept, through start-up and orchestrated many key business partnerships in the Greater Rochester, NY area.Annika received her undergraduate degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and completed her master’s degree in Business Administration from Capella University. She is a certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care trainer, providing training and conducting seminars on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care throughout the United States for healthcare professionals to become a certified dementia practitioner (CDP). She is also a professional certified American Red Cross trainer for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support. She is a member of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA), American Senior Fitness Association, the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), the Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly (GRAPE) and the National Notary Association (NNA).
