In my personal life, I enjoy writing and digital photography. I took my love for writing and self-published three books - The Apple Story, The Felt Heart, and The Kind Cowboys. Now I am working on a fourth! I also enjoy the challenge of getting great photographs of rodeo athletes at amateur rodeos across North Dakota.I am a skilled communicator and have excellent organizational skills. I enjoy creating personal relationships with a variety of people. It is fun to flex my creative juices to produce articles and photos for newsletters and the local monthly newspaper. Life is great! I enjoy living and exploring my country. I've traveled to 28 states with the goal to make it to all 50! It is a joy to go on American Adventures and see the beauty and diversity of the land. I have a tremendous interest in my Scandinavian heritage and have visited Norway twice in addition to visiting Sweden and Chile once. My next goal is to visit Norway in 2024, the 20th anniversary of my first visit, and sing "Nidelven" at the Nid River in Trondheim.
