With BioGaia, I am back to where I began – back to the probiotics, and back to my old friend from university Lactobacillus reuteri. Different strains of L. reuteri is the basis for all BioGaia products and my job is to lead the cross-functional work to develop new products and concepts, set up a production and see to that there are clinical proof of their efficacy before they are launched in some of the 100+ markets that BioGaia’s partners sell our products in. My background within infant food, probiotics, marketing and regulatory is a strength in finding the way forward leading these cross-functional teams of expert colleagues. Given the network set-up of BioGaia’s organization, managing stakeholders, getting decisions and keeping track of my projects and seeing to that the information on project progress reaches all part of the organization is a large part of the job. I also contribute to the development of the project work flow and to BioGaia being a great place to work.

Responsible for securing product quality and food safety issues for a new generation of consumers!The work includes close contact with both suppliers and production units to ensure that the highest standards of food safety are met. My competences in nutrition and food legislation have also come in good use as there are a lot of specific demands for babies and young children. The first product were launched spring 2017 under the Little Farmer brand.

Responsible for health communication for Arla Sweden, both externally and internally.As a health manager I got to use both my strategic and my operational communication skills. As this was a new role in Arla I was responsible for setting up a strategy, pulling together the core values of the company and the brand promises of the Arla brand, and get it implemented in the organisation. The focus has been on digital channels and content marketing, as well as on customer communicaton and media.Another side of the health management was seeing to that all communication, marketing and labelling follows the nutrition and health claims regulation. My way of doing this was to use my competence within food and legislation together with my communication skills and creativity to find ways of making positive communication about the health benefits of products, in spite of the very harsh regulation.

Product responsibility for the milk assortment on Swedish market. Includes project management responsibility for new product launches, responsibility for keeping an up-dated NPD-pipeline with investment needs, production site changes, packaging changes, etc. Product management very much used and developed my project management and coordination skills. A successful launch is both about getting the right idea but also being able to manage the different needs and demands of all internal departments in order to get the right product into the right packaging on the right day and out in the stores. As a product manager I was the one pulling all the strings together, looking after my products all the way. I worked independently and at the same time I cooperated with collegues at all levels and also external partners as suppliers and agencies.

Responsible for labelling and food legislation issues on the Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian market. Nutritional specialist for the innovation and marketing organisation. Worked out company policies in nutritional and labelling issues, eg. salt, additives, country of origin and multi language labelling and represented the company in health and nutritional related issues.

Development of new products within fermented milk, probiotics and functional food. Project manager for NPD-projects, process development and built up of new production line, risk assessments for new products and new production line and quality management of new and excisting products.
