-Client manager for multinational beverage manufacturer. Conduct sustainability assessments and source vulnerability assessments for multiple water source sites and bottling plants across Australia (Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia) and Papua New Guinea.-Project management, sampling, data analysis, and reporting for an on-going groundwater monitoring and remediation and soil vapour extraction program for a major multinational pharmaceutical facility in Victoria-Assist an EPA appointed Environmental Auditor with Auditing of Aftercare Management for Closed Landfills in the Melbourne Metropolitan area. This involves review of landfill gas, groundwater and surface water monitoring results, data analysis and assessment of landfill gas and hydrogeological risk assessments.-Responsible for data management, lab liaison, sampling design and assist with project management relating to the remediation of a former paper mill in Queensland. Primary author on multiple Contaminated Land Investigation Documents resulting in multiple sections of the Site being approved by the Auditor for development by Site owner.-Project management, review invoices and write reports acting as a third-party check on budget and insurance acceptability of costs for remediation project in New South Wales

I worked on a variety of projects, outlined below.-Conducted environmental field work supporting remediation of former paper mill in Queensland. I was initially based on Site in Brisbane for the first three months that I worked for PJRA. While based in Melbourne I was responsible for data management, reporting and works planning.-Author Wastewater Assessment report as part of a Source Vulnerability Assessment for an international bottled water manufacturer-Authored Water Supply Works Licence application for international bottled water manufacturer-Complete data analysis and ecological research pertaining to Ecological Risk Assessments for PFAS-contaminated Royal Australian Armed Forces bases in Queensland and New South Wales-Review invoices and write reports acting as a third party check on acceptability of remediation costs for insurance purposes on a project in New South Wales-Authored Environmental Authority Application for industrial land development in Queensland-Assist with Audits of Municipal Landfills in Victoria, including site inspections, data QA/QC, and reporting-Updated RegScan database for Queensland Health and Safety Legislation-Conducted spatial analysis of buffers around composting and waste resource recovery facilities in Victoria

I worked within the environmental consulting continuum at Antea Group as a field scientist/geologist. I conducted field work supporting environmental investigation, remediation and emergency response operations including collecting ground water, soil, and vapor samples to asses actual/potential risk pathways to receptors, monitoring and recovering free phase BTEX petroleum hydrocarbon (LNAPL) product, manual baildown and skimmer tests to determine NAPL recoverability and transmissivity, excavation oversight, installation and decommissioning of monitoring wells, groundwater monitoring well sampling, potable well sampling, residential water sampling, low flow groundwater sampling with peristaltic pump, electrical submersible pump, and bladder pumps, Geoprobe soil, water and soil vapor sampling, sub-slab and indoor air sampling, and soil logging and classification with geo-probe, hollow stem auger and sonic drilling for site characterization and contaminant delineation.I conducted site investigation work including gaining access agreements, scheduling field work with property owners and subcontractors, sampling and data collection, interpretation of field data and laboratory results and summarizing site recommendations through annual monitoring reports and investigation reports.I have developed Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAP), assisted with Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan preparation, assisted with Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) development and researched historical data for assistance with expert witness testimony in multiple environmental litigation cases.Training:40 Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) (June 2014), HAZWOPER 8 Hour Refresher (Feb. 2016 and Feb. 2015), HAZWOPER Supervisor (May 2015) and First Aid/CPR (June 2014).

I taught two sections of Geology and Cinema lab and acted as a lecture facilitator from January-May 2014. I taught 3 sections of Introduction to Oceanography lab and set up the labs each week from Sept-Dec 2013.

Spring 2013 - I taught a split graduate/undergraduate Physical Limnology course, two sections of Geologic Hazards, one section of General Geology, and one section of Physical Geology.Fall 2012 - I taught a split gradute/undergraduate Geochemistry course, co-taught a senior seminar on Pollution Science, taught one section of Physical Geology, and assisted with course assessments and editing Master's theses with a geochemical focus.Spring 2012 - I taught two sections of General Geology labs, one section of Introduction to Environmental Science, one section of Introduction to Earth's Environment and served as an adjunct committee member for two geochemistry master's students.Fall 2011 - I stepped in for a professor who went on sick leave and taught Environmental Geology and Natural Water Systems. The first is a Junior/Senior level course and the second was a split Senior/Graduate level course.

I developed and implemented curriculum-based education programs as well as coordinated the education and outreach programs. I managed seasonal park rangers and mentored GeoCorps volunteers. I also assisted in the Visitor’s Center with cashier transactions and visitor orientation. I developed and presented 90-minute cave tour programs to diverse audiences while traveling through a natural cave setting.

I assisted college-level students with geologic field mapping and interpretation during a 6-week upper level geologic field course. As part of the specialization week of the course, I taught basic water quality testing techniques, stream gaging, and well pump tests to students who wanted to learn basic hydrologic and environmental assessment techniques.

I worked in the Aquatic Sciences Laboratory in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. I spent 2 months doing field work in Antarctica as part of the McMurdo Long Term Ecological Research project.

I taught introductory geology labs. I taught two labs a week both fall and spring semester. There were about 20 students in each lab section.

I ran the Adopt-A-Stream program and worked with 5 classes of 5th and 6th grade students in the Kenai-Soldtna area. We monitored stream ecology and water quality. I was also in charge of organizing and running all outreach events that the office participated in, such as the Kenai River Festival. I also helped the environmental educators at the Kenai Wildlife Refuge when they hosted large outreach events.
