Responsibilities at a customer in the marine industry include:- Managing and developing standard documentation- Technical writing for ongoing projects in the R&D department- Writing, updating and proofreading technical manuals, function descriptions, maintenance instructions, etc.- Gathering information from various sources and departments within the organization- Providing support for the company's content management system

Responsibilities included assisting in various technical communication tasks, testing documentation software and collecting and improving material for sales support purposes.The employment was fixed-term.

Vaasa, Finland

I proofread and corrected linguistically demanding technical manuals using the company's own software, CO Modules (formerly Skribenta).

The job included helping customers in Finnish, English, Swedish and French, as well as giving different kinds of guided museum tours in Finnish and English.

In my job I advised tourists and provided them with information about the sights in Vaasa and surrounding areas in Finnish, Swedish, English and French.
