This is a temporary placement for paid internship experience. I worked alongside the Camp Catch-Up Director to plan and implement three Camps during the summer of 2014. This camp is an opportunity for children in the foster care system (ages 8-18) to reunite with siblings in which they have been separated. Responsibilities include: conducting interviews, creating excel spreadsheets, setting up transportation schedules for campers, contacting families/agencies to collect paperwork, creating camp schedules, and attending as well as co-facilitating three weekend-long camps.
