I joined the company to build the marketing function from the ground up.Overall, I needed to establish a marketing strategy that was comprehensive enough to encapsulate the entire customer lifecycle and nimble enough to ensure the company continued to meet growth and revenue targets.I developed the GTM strategy based on a full lifecycle approach and focused on building positive and mutually beneficial relationships with our customers. The overall GTM strategy went beyond identifying the market and building sales pipelines, and we were successful in creating a program that also ensured an outstanding customer experience for each individual. The GTM strategy I established was successful in achieving 600% growth in media share-of-voice relative to competitors and more than 50% growth in organic website traffic with increased engagement. The strategy also expanded Stoplight’s influence within the API industry and resulted in the creation of a top-performing tech business podcast that’s available across all popular platforms.Stoplight excelled and ultimately won multiple industry and trade awards, achieving 300% ARR growth in two years. The company’s outstanding performance led to a successful exit, and it was acquired by SmartBear in July 2023.
