The term "Senior Ingest Editor" is not well known. So what does this role include? My team establishes TV schedules for all German-speaking and Nordic markets. As a Senior on my team, these are my primary responsibilities:- manage assigned projects to onboard new customers- plan, lead and carry out projects to improve efficiency- make sure everyone has the tools to work efficiently and healthily. - manage and distribute the workload- train newly onboarded colleagues - streamline all incoming information and processesMy main goal is to manage and launch projects that in the end, eliminate tedious workflows so my colleagues get their hands free for the vital work. Please find a list of projects I have completed or am currently running in my position below.What did I achieve recently? - migrated the current standard guidance to a unified system for easier access and quicker search result- proposed building a new robot that eliminates tedious manual workflows, estimated savings in the rollout phase to be 100K€, scalable across several markets.- completed a customer complaint market analysis to find flawed processes and eliminate them- coordinated rapid workload and process changes due to the onboarding of a new client- developed an internal hub for quality control to ensure the quality of data stays consistent- reduced time needed for the internal onboarding process by 83% without reduction of quality- published several internal guides that have become the European standard- provided a database for customer base expansion
