Hello, my name is Ann Light. I graduated from the University of Miami Law School in May 2024 and was honored to be the student commencement speaker. I earned a J.D. and LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law and found a passion for litigation, mediation, and negotiation. I am now a trial attorney at Mase, Seitz, Briggs in Coconut Grove, FL. After spending sixteen years in Washington, DC, at CQ Roll Call (The Economist Group), where I assisted law firms, non-profits, and all government agencies in following and analyzing federal legislation, I began pursuing my law degree. I spent the summer of 2023 as a Certifed Legal Intern at the Office of the State Attorney in Broward County, where I previously interned in its Homicide Unit.
