About Ann-Louise Andersen

👩🏼‍💼 Associate Professor in Manufacturing Systems at the Department of Materials and Production, Aalborg University. 🏭 For more than 10 years, I have conducted research within manufacturing systems and their design, configuration and planning for increased reconfigurability, resilience, changeability, circularity, and efficiency. 🛠️ Based on my PhD project, I established a method and supportive tools for developing and utilizing reconfigurability and modularity in manufacturing systems. This innovative approach has been adopted by multiple companies and continues to serve as the foundation for ongoing research and industry collaborations.⛓️‍💥 Currently exploring how manufacturing reconfigurability can increase resilience and how MaaS can be implemented for increasing value chain resilience in the manufacturing industry. 🇪🇺 Work package leader in MAASive (MAnufacturing As a Service to Increase resilience in ValuE networks) funded by Horizon Europe.
