Hello, I'm Ann, a Teacher (Educator/ Designer/ Communicator).Common Ground: Creating calm from chaos. Current: I work as a 1st Grade Teacher at the school where I started as a Paraprofessional- an Education Support Professional. Since Nov 2018, I have found a place in Edina Public Schools engaged with French Immersion K-5 kids and elementary school staff. Past: I worked as Ann the Architect/ Urban Designer/ graphic communications manager.The best of times were in DC working on large urban design projects, PUDs, and mixed-use, multi-family residential projects, such as City Center DC. In Minneapolis, I worked on the Riverfront Warehouse District Masterplan and Guthrie Theater Design Development.Common:I love gathering- to uncover patterns and possibilities, to visualize large-scale projects. To succeed, I listen, inquire, translate, write, bridge, and glue. I bring an interdisciplinary approach to engage and unite differing worlds of thoughts.
